POSCO sneakers are made at Dois Irmãos, a family-owned tannery located in Porto Alegre, Brazil that follow ILO (International Labor Standards= rules. 

The ILO is the source of international labour law that is embodied in its Conventions and Recommendations and the documents that emanate from the supervisory mechanism responsible for the application of those international labour standards. 

The eight-core conventions of the ILO are:

- Forced Labour Convention (No. 29)

- Abolition of Forced Labour Convention (No.105)

- Equal Remuneration Convention (No.100)

- Discrimination (Employment Occupation) Convention (No.111)

- Minimum Age Convention (No.138)

- Worst forms of Child Labour Convention (No.182)

- Freedom of Association and Protection of Right to Organized Convention (No.87)

- Right to Organize and Collective Bargaining Convention (No.98)

The eight conventions, taken together, are more relevant today in the face of global economic and other challenges impinging on the welfare and livelihood of workers in all regions.

- Indeed, they are part and parcel of the overarching architecture for the universality of human rights, offering protection to all, and responding closely to the quest for social justice in a globalized setting.

- They are catalytic to the UN system, the international community and local communities as a whole.

Yes, they collect, sort and discard cotton fibres and fabric scrap from their own mother factory and other local factories to develop regenerated cotton yarns that are then used to weave their premium collection of curated fabrics that we use for our RESISTENCIA CANVAS sneaker.

Sneaker recycling is yet to make an impact within the footwear industry. So much so, that demanding and short-term trendsetting styles are still the fast-paced tenets by which our current fashion business models are sadly guided by. In fact, the industry is still so wasteful that a consumer today owns 300% more pieces of clothing than a generation ago, and wears a garment only seven times before getting rid of it, which usually end up in massive landfills.

The canvas can be brushed with cold water and Marseille soap, avoid putting them in the washing machine.

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Shipping takes approximately 5-7 business days across the United States.

We accept payments via GASTON TO CONFIRM. 

We offer worldwide international shipping. The shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. POSCO is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
