Sustainability for us extends to those behind the manufacturing processes and to those who wear our shoes. Our factories have both the technology and the social value for defending our workers’ rights because a happy worker makes a great shoe :)
Meet the makers
We have been working with him for almost 10 years in his factory located in Boedo, one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Buenos Aires and known for having been the epicenter of tango.
Following his father’s footsteps, an Italian immigrant shoemaker, El Tano runs a shoe factory in Buenos Aires, a few blocks from our founder' s house, Gastón Greco.
He joined the family four seasons ago. More than a shoemaker, an artist. He has been exploring and developing top quality boots for the past 50 years.
Fair Labor. ILO Rules. Care. Respect.
Our closeness to the factories allow us to visit them regularly not only to follow up on the shoe development but also to consolidate our relationship with them, to have a real measurement of the impact of our product, to identify areas of growth and to push us toward even more transparency.
